After hours and days of researching many professional resume/cover letter writing firms, I decided to go with Capstone, and I cannot be happier with my decision! This has been one of the best investments I have spent $$ on.
I placed my order on Sunday, and had already received a message regarding setting up a phone consultation the next day. The process was very smooth.
Ann worked with me for rewriting my resume and cover letter, and she has been beyond fantastic! I had a phone consultation with her on Tuesday. She was very easy to talk to, (which made me talk WAY more than I should have..) and she asked me many questions to really try to understand who I was and what I had accomplished in my career. I think the key to get what you really want for your new resume is to really talk to your writer, explain what you have/had done in your job; treat your phone consultation as a phone interview with your dream job employer. Tell your story!
Ann promised to deliver a new resume and cover letter on Friday, and SHE NAILED IT! It was awesome that she gave me this timeline, but more importantly, I liked that she took more than just 24 hours to write my new resume and cover letter. Other firms often advertise a rush service which could be helpful to some people, but I preferred this time frame. You get what you pay for with rushy rushy time!
There were only a few revisions I needed Ann’s help, and once again, she was very prompt and professional. The same day (Friday) I received my resume and cover letter, I reviewed them and asked Ann some questions including minor revisions. She promised that she would get back to me by the following Monday. She actually revised my resume and answered all of my questions on Sunday! She was very helpful clarifying some sections I needed help with as well as revising my resume. Hats off to Ann! I would recommend her and Capstone to everyone!
Amy, who was kind of a liaison between Ann and myself after Ann had written the first version of my resume and cover letter, was also very prompt and easy to approach! Really, Capstone responds to your message within a day, if not within a few hours! They took great care of me! I am very thankful for their service – including top-notch customer service.
